Bruce has extensive experience working with management and labor. He is currently self-employed as a consultant, specializing in negotiations, HR systems, and making the connection between Human Resources and Organizational Development. He retired in January 2014 after working for 7.5 years with the Bloomington Public Schools as HR Director. Previously, he was a labor representative for Education Minnesota for 9 years and a Middle School Math/French teacher for 7 years. He earned on his doctorate from the University of Saint Thomas in Organizational Development in March 2016. When not consulting, spending time with his family, working on his home, or perfecting his coffee skills, he can be seen sailing his 40-foot Tashing Panda pilothouse sailboat “Whisper” on Lake Superior out of Duluth, MN.
